The author provides a new L-M iterative parameter, is a real parameter for solving a system of singular nonlinear equations F(x) = 0. The algorithm performs a new inexact line search to find a new itera tion point if a trial step is not accepted. Global convergence of this new method are proved under mild conditions. Some numerical results are reported, which shows that the algorithm is quite effec tive.
