英文摘要：
Based on the trust region techniques, a new modified Levenberg-Marquardt method is presented for singular nonlinear equations. The global and local quadratic conver-gence of the algorithm are proved under local error bound condition which is weaker than the condition of nonsingularity. Numerical results indicate the algorithm is effective for the given test functions.
