We studied the effects of temperature on the producing of action potential in finite size of neuron membrane. It is found that with increasing temperature, the number of spikes in the same time interval first increases, and then decreases as the temperature increasing further. Under moderate membrane size, the mean inter spike interval of membrane potential first decreases, reaches a minimum, and then increases with temperature. By computing the power spectral density and defining a measure parameter, we show that under certain temperature, action potential reach a maximum, which corresponding to the coherence resonance.
