工业4.0在推动工程与技术融合创新的同时,也加剧了现代工程的复杂性,提升了现代工业的竞争力,构筑了充满道德挑战的工程环境,因此加强工程伦理教育,全面提升工程人才培养质量,成为世界工程教育的发展趋势。美国工程伦理教育主要经历了开展RCR教育的萌芽期,为满足ABET要求而迅速发展的扩展期,目前处于较为规范和不断创新的普及期。联邦政府的顶层设计和规划、行业需求的强劲驱动、教育内容的深化和融合、教育方法的多样和创新是美国工程伦理教育发展的主要特点。在我国＂新工科＂建设的背景下,美国的实践在重视力度、政府引导、产学合作和科教协同等方面,为我国工程伦理教育的发展提供了重要的借鉴和启示。因此,为改善我国工程伦理教育现状,培养具有专业伦理素养和技术的新工科人才,可以从几方面入手：一是高度重视,普及工程伦理教育;二是国家引领,推动工程伦理教育发展;三是产学合作,推进工程人才伦理支撑;四是实践创新,实现科教结合深度协同。

While promoting the technological convergence and innovation of engineering, the industry4. 0 intensifies the complexity of modem engineering project, promotes the competitive force, and constructs the engineering environment full of ethical challenge. As a result, to strengthen the engineering ethical edu-cation ,and comprehensively promote the quality of engineering talents have become the developing tendency of world engineering education. The American engineering ethical education has experienced the sprouting period centering on the PCR education, the fast developing expanding period to meet the ABET, and the spreading period with standardization and constant innovation at present. The top design and planning of federal government, strong motivation of industry requirements, the deepening and integration of education contents, the diversity and innovation of education methods are the main characteristics of American engi-neering ethics education development. Under the background of “new engineering” in China,the American practice of great attention, the government guidance, production and cooperation, science and technology cooperation provides important inspiration for the development of engineering ethics education in China. As a result, to improve the status of engineering ethics education of China, and to cultivate the new engineering talents having industrial ethics quality and techniques, the following points should be carried out ： first, great attention and wide spreading of engineering education, second, guided by the government, accelera-ting engineering ethics education development, third, university and industry cooperation to promote the ethics pillar of engineering talents, and fourth, practice and innovation to achieve the deep coordination of scientific technology and school education.
