This paper defines the conception and connotation of business process, information process and knowledge process, and describes the contact and distinction among above three, and then takes the core business process of Jiangsu Electric Power Design Institute as example to analytic demonstration. The paper sets forth the value-added business process-oriented, spiral model of knowledge process for the engineering design enterprise. The model can help people clearly management to assist business management, analyze information management, analyze the business process based on knowledge the process-oriented information process to assist and analyze the process -oriented knowledge process to assist knowledge management.
