The school-based curriculum is the important carrier and breakthrough point to promotethe development of students＇ personality, intensive development and characteristic development of aschool. It is the great content of curriculum reform of basic education in developed countries. Moreover,the school-based curriculum of rural schools in western China plays an important role in promotingbalanced development of compulsory education and educational equality. This paper has analyzed theorientation and value of school-based curriculum in rural primary school, probed into the constructionstrategy and safeguard measures of school-based curriculum at rural primary schools, it can be thereference for other rural primary schools at home and abroad to construct school-based curriculum.
