基于中国特殊制度背景,依据高阶理论,基于我国上市公司的经验数据,发现企业家背景特征对企业慈善捐赠行为有重要影响。(1)企业家的教育水平和社会关联度与企业慈善捐赠之间存在显著的正相关;(2)输出性职能背景的企业家所在的企业其慈善捐赠得更多;(3)国有控股企业和非国有控股企业相比较,企业家的背景特征对企业慈善捐赠的影响具有一定的差异性。
This study is intended to examine the relationship between entrepreneurs' demographic characteris tics and corporate philanthropy by using listed companies' data in China, based on the special institutional back ground in China and the upper echelon perspective. The result reveals the following: ( 1 ) Entrepreneurs" education and social connections have a positive correlation with corporate philanthropy; (2) Enterprises in which Entrepre neurs with functional background are donate more;and (3)The relationship between entrepreneurs" demographic characteristics and corporate philanthropy are different between state holding and non state holding after classi fying enterprises.
