There have been 81 kinds of nomen proprium according to ancient notes of Shuo Wen Jie Zi,ancient and modern herbal literature,verifying the number of nomen proprium loaded in＂hui radical＂,＂kun radical＂,＂chong radical＂. This paper is to analyse the phenomenon of homonym,synonym and wording on nomen proprium in traditional Chinese medicine.
