Aim To construct the method for discriminating a matrix which is an involutory Pascal matrix.Methods Using character of involutory Pascal matrix and symmetric matrix.Results The sufficient is given and necessary condition was aequired,which can be used to discriminate an involutory Pascal matrix.Conclusion This kind of problem of involutory Pascal matrix arises in many scientific and engineering applications,By using the recursion method and the character of involutory Pascal matrix,the sufficient and necessary condition can be used to discriminate an involutory Pascal matrix.
