The development of human rights with Chinese characteristics involves the unique qualities of China＇s excellent traditional culture. It is deeply imprinted with China＇s recent and modern history, representing Marxism＇s basic belief in human rights and Chinese Communist Party and Chinese Government＇s claims on human rights. The development of Chinese human rights is rooted in the basic conditions of the world＇s largest developing country. The pattern of Chinese human rights has a great advantage over its counterpart in the west, and has achieved spectacular success in practice. The development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the development of human rights with Chinese characteristics are consistent in nature. The former will give bigger room to the practice of the latter, bestowing new possibilities upon human rights theories and promoting the perfection of human rights protection system.
