针对拥塞服务业中消费者具有连续偏好的情况,基于二层均衡EPEC模型研究寡头服务商的能力竞争问题.利用变分不等式建立下层消费者市场均衡模型,证明了市场均衡的存在性并得到市场份额函数;采用Nash均衡分析上层服务商关于服务能力的博弈,证明了均衡存在性,并给出算例.分析结果表明,在消费者厌恶拥挤的情况下,任何服务商不可能独占市场.消费者偏好分布影响服务商竞争的均衡结果,消费者厌恶拥挤的程度变大,服务能力大的服务商所占的优势将得到增长.
Under the assumption of customer continuous preference in service industry with congestion,this paper studies oligopoly service providers’ capacity competition based on the bi-level EPEC model.Variational inequality is used to describe the low level market equilibrium,prove the existence of equilibrium and obtain the market share functions.The upper level service providers’ capacity game is studied based on Nash equilibrium. We prove the existence of equilibrium and provide a numerical example.The result shows that,as a result of the customer’s aversion towards congestion,the equilibrium can not be one where the service provider occupies the market,furthermore,the customer’s preference distribution function has impacts on the equilibrium result. As the customer’s maximum preference increases,the service provider with a larger service capacity will gain more advantages.
