With the rise of accountability and decentralization campaign, the core of school instructional leadership turns from classroom teaching to organizational learning, and shared instructional leadership becomes a new model for in- structional leadership. Shared instructional leadership is characterized by community of leaders, a proactive leadership pro- cess, and transformational leadership. To become effective shared instructional leaders, principals must acquire the appro- priate knowledge and skills, establish a good trust relationship with teachers, and become powerful organization managers.
