本文在双元性组织理论研究成果的基础上提出双元性组织创新平衡机制的理论分析框架,运用案例分析的方法,以佳都新太的创新实践为样本,探析企业发展过程中双元性组织创新平衡机制的构建与运行。研究结论表明,企业在创新路径选择和资源配置上,基于“平衡”和“匹配”两大过程将创新活动与结构演化融合,通过双元性组织创新平衡机制的设计和运行安排,能够协调挖掘性创新和探索性创新的冲突和相应的资源争夺,跨越组织管理悖论,改进组织创新绩效。本研究为企业创新路径选择和管理悖论突破提供了一个新的途径和思维,企业在从事创新活动过程中除了追求技术上的精益求精,更应该注重挖掘性创新和探索性创新的协调和平衡。
This paper presents a theoretical analysis framework of ambidextrous organization inno- vation balance mechanism, based on the research results of ambidextrous organization. Using the case analysis method, we explore the innovation practice of PCI-STCL in the development process and research the construction and operation of its ambidextrous organization innovation balance mechanism. Result shows that in terms of the choice of innovation path and resources allocation, enterprises integrate innovative activities into the organizational evolution through the two major processes of "balancing" and "matching"; through designing and working of the ambidextrous in- novation balance mechanism, enterprises manage to mitigate conflicts and the corresponding scramble for resources between exploitative innovation and explorative innovation, and improve the performance of organization innovation by stepping across management paradoxes. It provides a new way and thinking for other enterprises to select an innovation path and break through the management paradox. In addition to technical excellence, enterprises should also pay attention to the coordination and balance between the two kinds of innovation in engaging innovative activi- ties.
