英文摘要：
With the international trend of paying more attention to the harmony between residence environment and nature, this paper is to interpret the traditional ecology-thought, natural aesthetic and the basic tradition of city construction which is based on the above-mentioned two factors in ancient China. Taking the ancient capital city of Beijing as a typical example, this paper analyses the influence of the Beijing river system on the city structure in different dynasties of Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing and the city construction with gardens. Thus, it draws the conclusion that ecological landscape city is a tradition of excellence in ancient China which has a profound practical significance.
