In order to realize dynamic, accurate and speedy prediction of coal and gas outburst, and to ensure the safety of coal mine production, a prediction method based on data fusion and case-based reasoning is proposed with multiple influencing factors. The data fusion method based on the arithmetic mean and batch estimation is used to filter the collected multi-sensor indicator data so as to improve the precision and reliability of these data and the accuracy of prediction. And considering multiple indicator data, a case-based reasoning method for the prediction of coal and gas outburst is used for the dynamic, accurate and speedy prediction of coal and gas outburst. A practical example shows that the proposed method has high accuracy, speed, and stability of prediction and it is effective.
