Bernitsas开创性地提出了涡激振动能量转化机的基本概念.VIVACE具有启动流速低、能量密度大等优势,具有良好的开发前景.本文基于VIVACE的基本理念,进行了圆形、正三角形、正方形及正六边形4种截面形式振子的流致振动对比试验研究,目的在于比较不同截面振子的涡激振动与驰振响应特点,并基于此研究适用于流致振动能量开发的振子截面形式.结果表明:4种振子中,圆形截面振子的振动突显“自限制”涡激振动特点,而其他截面振子则并未出现;4种振子中,圆形与正三角形较其他两种截面形式更适用于能量开发,其中圆形截面适用于低流速及流速变化不大的环境条件,正三角形截面适用于流速较高及流速变化较大的环境条件.
The concept of vortex-induced vibration for aquatic clean energy(VIVACE)is pioneered by Bernitsas.VIVACE boasts a variety of advantages such as the low launch velocity or high energy density,which proises abright future.Based on the concept of VIVACE,a series of model tests are conducted on flow-induced motion(FIM)by using spring-mounted rigid cylinders with four types of cross sections,aiming to analyze the differencesin the response among these four kinds of oscillators,and to discuss the suitable cross section for oscillators inFIM energy extracting engineering.The four types of cross sections are the circular,the regular triangular,thesquare and the regular hexagonal.The results indicate that the self-limit characteristics occur in the response of circularcylinder,but not in other cylinders.The circular and regular triangular cylinders are more suitable than the squareand regular hexagonal cylinders in energy extracting.The suitable conditions for circular cylinder are the low flowvelocity and the narrow velocity range,while the suitable conditions for triangular cylinder are the high flow velocityand the wide velocity range.
