Mathematics experiment is a kind of activity, which can help students discover mathematics rules, comprehend mathematics knowledge, and verify mathematics conclusion, by practical operation using some given instruments. Thus it can be used as a means of instruction in junior middle school with guidance of mathematics teachers. Directed by modern cognitive theory, and based on theories of embodied cognition and child development, it manifests great values as follows.- promote students＇ intelligent and non-intelligent development, restore the holistic knowledge learning process, explicate hidden curriculum resources, and enhance teachers＇ professional development.
