MathematicS experiment in junior middle school is an supplement to the national mathematics＇curriculum, to help students understand mathematical knowledge in a direct way, exper!ence mathematics thinking and accumulate experience in basic activities. It is instrumental, operational, situational, and explorative. The design of junior middle school mathematics experiment includes four basic aspects： thebasic nature, overall goals, line of thinking and basic content. The selection of content should, be able to provoke the learning interest of students, to enrich their learning modalities and facilitate development of their mathematics thinking.
