It is import for car body structure at the phase of concept design, in order to improve the design efficiency and accuracy, and it is important to analyze for car body structure. One car was taken as an example. The car structure was simplified by UG, and the simplified car body geometric was created, the sections of beams was simplified according to mechanical property of section, and mechanical parameter of section was calculated, the stiffness equation was created and decoupled, the stiffness of joint was got, the joint element was simulated by spring element and rigid element, the car body finite-element structure was created, and the stiffness and mode was calculated. The simulation result was compared with the detailed design result. The feasible of design was tested.
