Yunnan tourism industry has achieved rapid development after the ＂Expo 99＂ successfully held in Kunming. However, 46. 69% of its inbound tourists come from three developed inbound tourism areas Yangtze River Delta, JingJinJi Area and Pearl River Delta. But the transfer of inbound tourists from three areas to Yunnan is different. According to the research, the number of inbound tourists from the JingJinJi area is the largest, with the bigger fluctuation during the year. The Yangtze River Delta take the second place in Yunnan＇s tourism market, with a faster growing speed. But the Pearl River Delta＇s transferring tourists are the fewest, appearing reducing state in recent years. Therefore, Yunnan needs to make more efforts to expand its tourist markets in these three biggest inbound tourism areas.
