以沪-西旅游流为例，利用person相关系数、转移量和年际变动指数等指标进行定量分析，得出沪-西入境旅游流西向动态转移的规律特征及东部典型城市对西部典型城市国际旅游业发展的重要程度和相关关系，从而为西部典型城市制定旅游规划、开展旅游市场营销、发展国际旅游业等提供科学依据．
英文摘要：
From the inbound tourist flow from Shanghai to Xi＇an, this research makes quantitative analysis by using the indicators such as person correlation-coefficient, transfer volume and annual change index. According to the analysis, several results are figured out, one of which shows that characters about the inbound tourism flow from Shanghai to Xi＇an. Meantime, on the basis of the data, the result shows the eastern typical city is important for international tourism development of the western typical city. This research also provides a scientific foundation for western typical city to make tourism planning, develop tourism marketing and international tourism.
