上海是国际化大都市，也是我国重要的入境口岸之一，每天由上海入境前往我国西部省区旅游的入境旅游者不计其数。根据国家旅游局1996—2006年的统计资料，通过对上海入境旅游流向西部各省区游客分布指数及偏好分析，研究了由上海入境向我国西部省区转移的入境旅游流存在的时空动态演变特征，为西部各省市制定旅游规划提供参考。
英文摘要：
Shanghai is an international metropolis and one of important ports of entry. Many tourists transfer from Shanghai to the domestic destinations every day. The article studies the dynamic characteristics of spatial and temporal evolution of Shanghai inbound tourist flow towards western areas by analyzing the tourists distribution ratio and the preference, according to the National Tourism Administration＇s statistical data 1996 -2006 so as to provide references for western provinces tourism planning.
