Chloramphenicols （CAPs） have been widely administrated in treatment of diseases in aquatic animals due to strong bacte- riostasis, unexpensive, rapid absorb and wide distribution in body. The characteristics, mechanism, detecting methods, distribution and metabolic pattern and vitro pharmaeokinetic of CAPs were briefly described aiming at offering references of research and application of CAPs.
