“十一五”期间，我国预计投产电源2.6亿kW，总的建设投资超过1万亿元人民币。如果只凭发电企业自身拥有的资金，很难实现电源建设目标，有必要研究资金筹集渠道以及控制融资风险的方法。以美国霍普威尔火力发电站融资项目为背景，分析发电企业从自建电厂到购买发电权、从公司融资到项目融资等各方面的转变，为我国发电行业融资及其风险控制提供启示。

In the ＂eleven fifth＂ period, China has prepared to put 2.6 hundred million kilowatt generation into production, the total building investment will more than 1 thousand billion Yuan.Facing the huge investment, the generation enterprisecompany can hardly achieve the building target only by themselves. So it is necessary to study the financing way and control the financing risk. The paper analysis analyzed the America Hopewell generation company＇s financing item, including the change from building the new generation power plant by themselves to supporting others to build the new power plant, from the company financing to project financing and so on. Hope the study can give some apocalypse to China＇s power generation companies about their financing and the risk control.
