It is a controversial hot topic whether Agent Construction System is completely applicable in transportation infrastructure eonstruction. This paper analyzes the basic theory of Agent Construction System, the current situation, advantages and disadvantages of implementing Agent Construction, and puts forward relative suggestions. Implementing Agent Construction System in non-transportation projects; implementing Agent Construction System in transportation projects in different classes step by step; making regulations to restrict the qualification of agent construction companies; integrating the policies and laws of agent construction as soon as possible are suggested . It also has an important significance to clarify whether Agent Construction System is completely applicable in transportation infrastructure construction, to consummate and implement Agent Construction System.
