网络视频公选课已成为国内高等院校日常教学安排体系的一部分,它是对传统高校教学的有益补充,有助于创新人才的培养。而完成学业的需要、自我提升的需要、个性化学习的需要、休闲的需要以及人际互动的需要,是目前高校学习者选修网络视频公选课使用与满足的主要形态。虽然目前其发展受制于网络硬件、选修人数以及选修课程学习环节等有待完善的种种不足,但随着网络资源建设的进一步加强,网络视频公选课将会为更多的学习者所接受。

英文摘要：

Online videos optional courses have become a vital part of the daily teaching arrangement system in Chinese colleges and universities.These courses are beneficial supplements to the traditional teaching and helpful for talents training.The main forms of college students＇ uses of the online video optional courses and their gratifications include completing their study,self-promotion,the needs of individualized learning,and the needs of leisure and interpersonal interaction.There are some shortcomings though such as inadequate hardware,the limited number of students in optional courses and the imperfect links of teaching and learning.The online videos optional courses will be accepted by more learners with the further construction of cyber resources.
