The family education is a special form of education which takes the children of the family as the main object of education to meet the needs for the children to read and to take examinations. The purpose of this kind of education is to revitalize the clan and to enlighten the tribe. Since the Qing Dynasty, with the development of the Long chieftain family education in Liangsi, a group of intellectual elites have been brought up to create the atmosphere of learning in Liangjiang area, and its influence continues to this day.
