Qingshuijiang Documents is to record and reflect the comprehnsive local hitorical docu- ments on the economic and social development in Qingshuijiang River basin since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The arrangement of Qingshui River documents collection is a comprehensive problem, which not only has academic but also a very strong social nature. It involves the interests of academic institutions, local governments and all sectors of the rural masses. To deal with the above problems, it needs benign interaction bewteen local governments and academic institutionss.
