There are a lot of judicial files of Qing dynasty in Liu Guangbin＇ s family preserving documents in Shiyin village of Jinping county with one typical document of a lawsuit file about building and destroying a bridge. It is found that, in these documents, local beliefs and customes are involved in building and destroying a bridge, and the local governments＇ judgment, irrespective of the local be- liefs and customes, took it serious to maintain the trafficfacilities.
