The framing effect is a classic anomaly in behavioral decision-making. Most of past studies were focused on Asian disease problems and took samples from students, but the present study attempted to alter this paradigm. In the Chinese background, and with administrators of enterprises as samples and entrepreneurial risk decision-making as the situation and through between-subject lab experiments, the study explored the neurological basis of the framing effect. The results showed that when activated by the right hemisphere, the framing effect showed up more often. In line with this, people who tended to think in a holistic/heuristic way were more susceptible to the framing effect. Limitations and future studies were discussed.
