过于重视第一作者的科研激励政策,为大学内部的科研合作带来了有争议的影响。借助委托代理理论构建一大学声誉的创造过程模型,从社会资本理论视角阐述科研合作影响大学声誉的实现机理,并首次运用98家大学的数据进行了实证检验,结果发现:科研合作行为对大学的组织声誉和创新能力具有显著的积极影响,跨校科研合作网络比本校内部合作网络对大学声誉和创新能力具有更强的积极影响,而独自研究行为则带来了明显的负作用。显然,现行激励政策破坏了科研合作的社会资本基础。因此,在科研管理体制中淡化对第一作者的政策要求,强化学术权力的权威地位以及通过制度设计促进个体社会资本向团队与组织层次转化,将为大学声誉的持续提升奠定坚实的制度基础.
The research management policy that only the first author can be rewarded as the sole author attracts a lot of debates on research collaboration in Chinese universities. A principal-agent model for creation process of university reputation is established, and the implementation mechanism is discussed from the perspective of social capital theory, and for the first time the empirical test is conducted by using the data of 98 Chinese universities. Evidences show that research collaboration has significantly positive impacts on university reputation, and inter-university collaboration uetworks give much positive effects on university reputation than that of intra-university. Specifically, non-collaborative researchers do harm to university reputation. The present system has destroyed social capital which is the foundation of research collaboration. Some suggestions, such as weakening the policy on first author, strengthening the academic power and promoting the transfer from individual human and social capital to the group one, are also discussed for buihling up the systematic foundation of continuously raising university reputation.
