Service economy is the predominated economy paradigm in the 21st century. In the society of service economy, the development of manufacturing industry fosters the development of service industry. Service-embedded manufacturing is a new paradigm for the synchronization of service and manufacturing. In this paper, we propose the new business mode, production organization mode and operation mode of service-embedded manufacturing. Furthermore, we propose the implementation roadmap of service paradigm. The advanced manufacturing system and advanced management system is the foundation of the implementation of service-embedded manufacturing. Demand management, capacity management, enterprise network and risk management is the main contents for the implementation of service-embedded manufacturing.
