This paper discusses the types and research status of common fungal diseases in sugarcane.Through the study of the existing research results,summed up the current stage of the country for the prevention and control of fungal diseases and the lack of biological control methods.Through the discussion of the existing plant fungal biocontrol research methods in the prevention and treatment of fungal diseases of plants,put forward thinking and breakthrough points for the biological control of fungal diseases of sugarcane can be used for reference,to provide ideas for sugarcane fungal biocontrol engineering.
