FOXM1 is a transcription factor related to proliferation. Several studies have confirmed that FOXM1 is overexpression in a variety of solid tumors, including ovarian cancer. Studies have indicated that FOXM1 is involved in the occurrence and development of ovarian cancer through a variety of mechanisms, and is closely related to the prolif- eration, invasion, metastasis, epithelial mesenchymal transition and drug resistance of ovarian cancer. Through deep study of FOXM1, its mechanism will be more clear, and FOXM1 may be a new target for ovarian cancer clinical appli- cations and gene therapy.
