This paper summarizes the current situation of Chinese university library service for community, introduces the Guangzhou City Polytechnic library service for community, and points out that community service should focus on practicing the open service concept of library, strengthen the propaganda of community services, simplify service procedures, establish the operation mechanism of lasting effect, and rely on the advantage of occupation education resources to carry out the learning community information service.
