Data security is a very important part in the college message platform. In this paper,mainly research the data and communication security from the network data encryption, authentication, diary monitoring and other aspects. Use MD5 algorithm, the design of network authentication. Finally, to achieve the corresponding settings of the LINUX systems and databases of its own security mechanism. These methods reliable performance in practical application platform, and achieved good results, and guaranteed the college message platform data security.
