本文利用现象驱动型案例研究方法,较为详细地描述了艾欧史密斯公司无边界组织的演进过程,阐述了企业如何通过变革型领导和动态团队两个强有力的杠杆逐步打破地理边界、外部边界、垂直边界和水平边界,以实现在当今商业环境中生存和发展所必须的速度、灵活性、整合以及创新。研究发现,无边界组织的演进过程本质上就是企业无边界文化的塑造过程。随着跨国公司全球本土化战略的实施,这种新型的组织形式能够在中国得以传承有两个重要的条件:打造动态团队是无边界文化的重要形式;变革型领导和动态团队的协同演化是营造无边界文化的内在机理。
In this paper,we use the case study of phenomenon-driven method to describe A.O.Smith’s evolution of boundaryless organization.And it explained how the enterprise breaks the geographical boundaries,external boundaries,the hierarchical boundaries and horizontal boundaries by transformational leadership and dynamic teamwork to achieve the speed,flexibility,integration and innovation,which are necessary for the survival and development in business environment.The study find,essentially,the evolution of the boundaryless organization is the process of shaping a boundaryless culture.With the implementation of multinational global localization strategy,this new form of organization involves two important conditions to be able to spread over China: ①The creatation of the dynamic teamwork is an important form of boundaryless culture.②The co-evolution between transformational leadership and dynamic teamwork create the intrinsic mechanism of boundaryless culture.
